Loved reading about your time in Colorado - Boulder specifically. Brings back so many great memories of my time at CU! Hiking through the Flatirons is always a good idea :)

Growing up in the flatlands of Florida, who would of thought that hiking through the world and our country would bring you such peace and joy? So happy you have found your “place”.

Love Denver! Lived there for 10 months and you never run out of hikes or views. Glad you got to see so much of the States this trip :)

Great adventures! I went to college in Boulder and the Flatirons are one of my happy places. Saw a mama black bear and her cubs while hiking there last year!

Had a couple of friends who went to college in Boulder. I now appreciate how great that would have been. I was in Austin, which was fun and had hills, so no regrets, but would endorse U Colorado any day.

Colorado has such stunning vistas. I've driven cross country a few times, and I always hoped there would be thunder showers with lightning bc they'd light up the night sky. Beautiful photos!

To be perched on a mountainside watching weather roll in is magical. I didn't witness any thunder showers, but plenty of dramatic cloud formations.

Beautiful photos and great update! James looks great and it's wonderful that you are friends. I'll never forget Leyton associating him with "James" like on Thomas the Train!!!

James is doing well. It was good to see. He was definitely an instant hit with Leyton due to the Thomas association.

Gertrude was a wise one. I love my cities, but might just love America's peopleless places even more.
